MathLopedia is a static site of solved math problems for students. It is operated by the person described on the About page. This policy applies to the MathLopedia website and to practice tests created on it.
We do not run user accounts, newsletters, or checkout. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details on this site.
When you visit, the hosting provider (currently Vercel) may record standard server logs. Those logs can include your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, the time of the request, and a referrer. We use this only to keep the site running and to debug problems. We do not sell it.
The site uses your browser’s local storage so the page remembers a few choices. This data stays on your device. We do not send it to a MathLopedia server.
mathlopedia-theme).mathlopedia-page-size).mathlopedia-test:…).You can clear this by deleting site data in your browser settings. The site will work again with the default theme and a new test.
MathLopedia itself does not set advertising cookies. Third parties we load, or that may serve ads, can set cookies or similar identifiers on your device.
Cookies may be used to remember a preference, measure whether an ad was shown, or - if personalized ads are on - to show ads that are more relevant. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some features, including ads, may not work as intended if you do.
We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device information, and how you use this site and other sites to:
Google’s use of this data is described in the Google Advertising Technologies page and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com. You can also visit youronlinechoices.com (Europe) or optout.aboutads.info (US).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another region that requires consent, we will use a consent message before non-essential advertising cookies are set, once ads are live.
Pages may load files from these providers. They can see your IP address and the page you are on when the file is requested:
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not control how they process data once the request leaves this site.
Any information described above is used only to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for a mailing list.
We share information only with the hosting, font, math-rendering, and advertising providers named above, and only as needed to run the site. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the site and its visitors from abuse.
Local storage stays on your device until you clear it. Hosting logs are kept only as long as the host keeps them for security and operations. We do not keep a separate MathLopedia user database.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to certain processing. Because this site does not keep accounts, there is usually little or nothing stored on our side beyond hosting logs.
You can:
If we cannot fulfill a request because we do not hold the data, we will say so.
MathLopedia is written for college-level mathematics. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete anything we can reach.
The site is hosted on servers that may be in the United States or other countries. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in a country with different data-protection rules than your own. By using the site you understand that this transfer can happen as part of ordinary hosting and advertising.
Some pages link to other websites, including Google policy pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This policy does not cover them.
We may update this policy when the site, hosting, or advertising setup changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. The current version will always be at this page.
For questions about this policy, use the About page on this site. For questions about ads shown by Google, use Google Ad Settings or Google’s privacy tools.
